Hi friends, I’m Gordo! A super sweet older kitty who lovessss to talk! Before I start telling you how wonderful and lovable I am, let me give you a bit of a backstory. Back in the early to mid 2010’s I was in a foster home here with purr paws. I was living a wonderful life tell, poof, I got adopted by a wonderful lady who loves me! I was so happy and loved for so many years by my adopted mom. Sadly, sometime last year she had to be put in a home where I wasn’t allowed. Instead of finding somewhere for me to go, her son who was in charge of taking care of me, kicked me outside and never looked back. Thankfully I managed to wander and find a feral colony and was accepted. Unlike all my friends there, I liked people. The nice ladies taking care of everyone loved to pet me and we would have conversations together! Then, right before the freeze that happened earlier in the month of February one of the nice people decided to take me inside so I would be warm and safe. After the temperature warmed up she was about to put me outside but then the thought of something that changed me life. She thought I may be microchipped and could find my original owners! So she took me to the vet and found out what my original owners did to me. So instead of staying outside, they contacted purr paws and I was back with the same rescue group who saved me so many years ago! All thanks to a microphone. Crazy story, right? I’m now more safe and loved than ever. BUT I would LOVE a second chance at a forever family!  

Now that you know how I found myself here again, let me tell you how awesome I am! I am a big boy, weighing just over 18 pounds, but some would call me extra loved. I’m basically a blanket who purrs. Speaking of purring, I have a super loud purr you can hear from across the room! I absolutely love head rubs, I can fall asleep just by those simply pets. I love to follow my foster around the house and talk to her the. Whole. Time. Literally, I have a beautiful voice and I love to use it! I can sleep just about anywhere but couches are oh so comfy. I’m basically a pillow too. Just a super cute one! Plus, I’m not scared of anything! I haven’t hid for one second since I came to my foster home. With my environment changing so much in a short amount of time you would think I would be scared at a new place, nope! I walk around like I own the place. Dogs are too much work for me so that’s why I ignore them. But I get along with most cats! If you’re interested in adopting me, please fill out an online application and we can meet!
