Hi New Bestie!!  My name is Ruby and I was rescued along with my brother Stanley as tiny babies from a drainage ditch.  We do not know what happened to our mama, maybe she lost us?   Anyway, a kind human fished us out of the ditch and found a rescue/foster home for us.    It took us a while to get healthy and back on track but now we are doing great.  I am very lovey and will come up to you as soon as you walk in the door for pets.  Sometimes I think I am a doggie!!    I really do not want you to hold or carry me as I am really independent and can get around on my own.   I chase everything that moves and when I catch my stuffed mice I will hide them so no one else can get them. HeeHeeHee!   I tussle quite a bit with my brother as he is kind of annoying but we do love each other.  At night I will climb in your bed and sleep by your side.   I’m not sure how I feel about having canine family members since I have never lived with them.  And because I really do not like being picked up small children may not be ideal. I really would like to find a forever home with my brother since we have grown up together.  Come see us at the Cypress Petsmart!
