My foster mom calls me Holdout and I’m anything but.  I love to cuddle, give hugs and headbutts and nap beside you.  And I’ll purr the whole time.  I may have once been a holdout but that’s because life on the street is hard.  You just don’t know who you can trust.  I was born to a stray kitty who was being cared for by a homeless man.  She taught is that not all humans were as nice as him so when my foster mom came to get us, I stayed hidden under the trash dumpster.  But she tricked me.  After she had all of my siblings and my Mom caught, she put all of the traps together under a sheet so I thought it was safe to come out.  Next thing I know, I’m trapped!  I didn’t know it at the time, but it turned out to be a good thing.  My Momma was fixed so she’s not having any more kittens and she and all of us kids got to come live in a house. I figured out pretty quickly that not all humans were bad and that indoor life was great! No more rain. No more cold. No more extreme heat.  And, there’s always food.

When I was little bitty, my back feet were extra-long so I walked funny.  I’ve pretty much grown into them but, sometimes, I still waddle a little.  I’m an excellent companion when working.  I will lay beside your computer and watch you type, although sometimes, I want you to pay attention to me, so I’ll grab your fingers with my paws.  If my new home was to have another pet or 2, I wouldn’t mind.  I enjoy playing and napping with the other kitties and the smaller dogs in my foster home.  (The bigger dogs aren’t allowed to play with us because they might accidentally hurt a little kitten but we do get to nap with them.)

‘Mom’ says I have kind of a strange coat.  The hair on my legs is short but it’s more of a slick medium on my body and with a fluffy medium tail.  I’m pretty low maintenance except, I occasionally need help by having my humans brush my tail.

If you’d like a great addition to your family, I suggest you fill out an application for me. I’m ready for my own family!
